Author Bio	Leslie A. McGuinn is thirty-year-old, she lives in Highland Springs, Virginia with her husband of eleven years, their beautiful four-year-old daughter and their cats. She works for her in-laws as a used car salesperson. All her life she has wanted to be well known, it wasn’t until recently that she realized that she wanted it to be with her writing. She has always enjoyed reading and writing. She was always writing something rather it was a story, poetry, notes to friends/boyfriends, writing for school or just writing in her journal. Synopsis	In the Zooland County Zoo, lives a small one-year-old Monkey named Michael. Stefan Zoolander takes care of Michael and all the other animals in the zoo. Michael is his favorite, although all the animals hold a place in Stefan’s big heart. He doesn’t know what he would do if it wasn’t for all the animals. Michael lives in the center of the zoo with his mother Bell and father Jim-Bob. He is lonely and curious and wants to know what life is like outside of his pen and he wants to meet new friends. He comes up with a plan to sneak away when Stefan takes him out of his pen to play with him after dinnertime. Once Michael gets away he comes in counter with Anthony the Alligator, Anthony helps to hide Michael from Stefan. They become friends and play for hours until Michael is tired and he wants to get back to his parents. This is the first in a series that I will be calling Zooland County Zoo. The next book will be called Anthony the Alligator and each book will introduce a new character and the next book will be titled after the new character.
Other Information	I have had three poems published in Anthologys for The International Library of Poetry. In August 2006 my first book of poetry "I've Been There Before: A Collection of Poetry" was released for sale online.
